Interio by Godrej Eyes ₹550 Crore Revenue from Southern Market, Accelerates Hyderabad Expansion with 4 Stores

Hyderabad, March 26, 2026: Amplifying its commitment to provide enhanced retail experiences and make great design accessible, Interio by Godrej, a leading furniture brand from the Godrej Enterprises Group, is targeting a market share of 14% in Hyderabad over the next three years. The brand expects to clock revenues of ₹50 crores from Hyderabad in FY26, registering an overall growth of 9% in the region.

Dr. Dev Narayan Sarkar, Senior Vice President and Head of Consumer Business (B2C), Interio by Godrej, said, “Hyderabad continues to be a key market for us, supported by strong residential growth and a steady pipeline of new housing supply. The city recorded over 41,000 residential unit launches last year, reflecting sustained demand driven by a growing, tech-led workforce and infrastructure development. This is translating into higher demand for organised, modular, and full-home solutions. We are also seeing clear shifts in consumption patterns, with consumers moving towards minimalist, modern interiors and space-efficient solutions.”

Further, he added, “Categories such as multifunctional furniture, storage-led designs, and work-from-home solutions are seeing higher adoption, driven by compact urban living and nuclear households. Our focus is on expanding access while improving the buying experience across touchpoints, as we continue to see increased interest in kitchens and integrated interiors across segments. We plan to open 12 new dealer stores and add 100+ retailers in Telangana and Andhra Pradesh, aimed at improving accessibility across both urban and emerging markets”

Interio currently operates a strong retail and distribution network in Hyderabad, with 14 showrooms, 5 dealers, and 52 retailers, alongside a wider presence across Telangana and Andhra Pradesh. The brand continues to see steady demand across home storage, bedroom and living room furniture, with increasing traction in modular kitchens and mattresses. Following rebranding, Interio’s positioning is centred on addressing the needs of modern Indian homes, extending its offering beyond furniture to more comprehensive home solutions with a focus on comfort, craftsmanship and long-term usability. The brand plans to open 4 new franchise stores and add 40+ retailers in Hyderabad by FY 29 aimed at improving market access across both established and emerging locations. In parallel, Interio is enhancing its retail formats through a multi-format strategy, creating more experiential stores supported by a seamless omnichannel journey that integrates digital discovery with physical retail.

Interio continues to expand its product portfolio with offerings such as Upmods, expandable dining tables, Kreation wardrobe, and Modunest are designed to address the needs of compact homes and changing space requirements. The brand has also strengthened its home offerings with the launch of a soft furnishings range, aimed at enabling quick and accessible home upgrades, with a targeted revenue of ₹5 crore from this category. In the kitchen segment, Interio’s recently launched Steel Chef range caters to the mid-premium market with modular steel kitchens designed for durability and efficient space utilisation.
