Raipur, April 09, 2026: Amplifying its commitment to provide enhanced retail experiences and make great design accessible, Interio by Godrej, a leading furniture brand from the Godrej Enterprises Group, launched the revamped store in Raipur along with ‘Moments That Matter’ (MTM) study that explores how everyday experiences at home shape emotional well-being, connection, and comfort for modern Indian consumers.
Spread across nearly 5000 sq.ft., the store brings alive Interio’s commitment to provide customers with a one-stop destination for modern Indian homes. The stores showcase a new range of modular, configurable and personalised furniture with new categories of Bedroom, Living and Dining furniture. The brand has also launched a new range of soft furnishings.
Commenting on the launch, Dr. Dev Narayan Sarkar, Senior Vice President and Head of Consumer Business (B2C), Interio by Godrej, said, “The ‘Moments That Matter’ study highlights this shift, showing how design can shape how people feel, connect, and unwind. With our revamped store in Raipur, we are translating these insights into immersive experiences that help consumers create spaces that truly reflect their lifestyles. Our long-term strategy remains focused on expanding our retail footprint to 18 stores by 2029 in Chhattisgarh and deepening our omnichannel presence across the state. This is backed with the trust and reliability of Godrej which is reassuring for our customers. We aim to generate revenue of around INR 150 crores from Central India in FY27. By enhancing our network and introducing new products tailored to consumer preferences, we are committed to capture a larger market share and drive substantial growth.”
Adding perspective on the study, Dr. Alisha Lalljee, Practicing Psychologist, Psychotherapist & Educator, said, “Our surroundings play a critical role in shaping emotional and mental well-being. Thoughtfully designed spaces, whether for reflection, connection or comfort can foster a strong sense of balance and belonging. The ‘Moments That Matter’ study highlights how these everyday moments contribute meaningfully to overall life satisfaction, especially in fast-paced urban environments like Raipur.”
The launched MTM study found that in East India, nearly 91% respondents finds that dinnertime is when families truly bond and 91% highlighting the dining space as a key setting for connection. This extends beyond mealtimes, with 91% of respondents saying that sharing the day’s experiences with loved ones in the evening is an important routine, highlighting how home life in the East is anchored in family interaction.
