Interio by Godrej expands with flagship store in Mumbai; eyes 1500 stores by FY29
Interio by Godrej has launched a 22,000 sq ft flagship store in Vikhroli, Mumbai, featuring modular, configurable, and personalized furniture. The new space also introduces categories like gaming, outdoor, and children's furniture, reflecting a new design language for Indian homes and workspaces. The brand aims to expand its retail footprint to 1,500 stores by FY29 and deepen its omnichannel presence.
Interio by Godrej has expanded with a 22,000 square feet flagship store in Vikhroli, Mumbai, showcasing modular, configurable, and personalized furniture alongside new categories such as gaming, outdoor, and children’s furniture, the company said in a media release on Monday.
“Our vision for the flagship in Vikhroli is a dialogue between design and craft... Interio celebrates a new design language for Indian homes and workspaces, that is modular, configurable and expressive,” said Nyrika Holkar, executive director at Godrej Enterprises Group.
“With our new flagship store, we are strengthening our connection with consumers who see their homes as an expression of who they are,” said Swapneel Nagarkar, business head and executive vice president at Interio by Godrej.
He added that the brand aims to expand its retail footprint to 1,500 stores by FY29 and deepen its omnichannel presence.
Interio by Godrej currently operates 1,000 retail stores across India and five manufacturing facilities. The flagship launch builds on the brand’s recent rebranding, positioning it as a design-led lifestyle brand anchored in its century-old legacy, it shared.
