System Overview: AI Camera-Based CAS
The system comprises a central processing unit and up to four AI-enabled cameras, mounted on all four sides of the Material Handling Equipment (MHE). This setup provides a comprehensive 180° + 180° view, enabling Machine-to-Man safety.
When a human enters the proximity of the forklift, the AI system detects the presence and sends a signal to slow down the machine.
The system can be further extended to enable Machine-to-Machine safety, following on-premises AI training.
Operational Response Based on MHE Type:
Battery-operated MHE: Automatically slows down upon receiving a trigger from the CAS.
Diesel-operated MHE: Emits an audible alarm when triggered by the CAS.
