Waste Heat Recovery System

Recovering Heat, Cooling the Planet. The Godrej Waste Heat Recovery System is designed to capture and repurpose waste heat from industrial processes, particularly from air compressors, transforming it into a valuable energy source. This recovered energy can be used to generate additional heat or even mechanical and electrical power, significantly improving overall plant efficiency. In air compressors, a heated oil-air mixture (90°C–100°C) exits the screw element and typically passes through an air/oil separator, where heat is rejected via radiators or cooling towers. Instead of wasting this thermal energy, the Godrej WHRS captures it from the hot compressor oil and uses it to heat water up to 70°C.
