FY 25-26 CSR Annual Action Plan

In line with our CSR policy and national priorities, our FY 25-26 CSR plan focuses on two key areas:

1. Enabling Employability

Godrej DISHA aims to enhance employability through vocational skills training in areas relevant to manufacturing industries. Key initiatives include:

- Collaboration with Government ITIs for training Infrastructure improvement and soft skill and advance industry aligned training of trainees.

- Collaborating with non-profit organizations and social enterprises to provide training in sales, service, interiors, building construction, manufacturing, technical skills and Digital Skills. The key skills covered under these are 

  • Refrigeration & Airconditioning technician 
  • Retail Sales
  • Digital lock technician 
  • Solar technician 
  • Forklift Operator
  • Welder
  • Fitter 
  • Machinist and CNC operator

2. Community Development

Our Community Development programs operate in all regions where we have a presence, focusing on four key areas:
 

Education

- Developing school infrastructure to improve WASH facilities, creating new classrooms, and enhancing the learning environment.

- Creating model schools and aanganwadis, improving learning outcomes through e-learning facilities, science and computer labs, English learning programs, and teachers' capacity building.

- Setting up multiskilling labs to provide technical skills orientation to high school students

- Providing scholarship support to underprivileged engineering students.

Locations: Khalapur, Mumbai, Shirwal and Madkai
 

Environment

- Implementing projects on water recharge, water body rejuvenation, integrated watershed management projects

- Promoting medicinal plantation and effective crop residue management to reduce stubble burning.

- Support for environmental awareness and arrange environment conservation drives

- Tree plantation activities

Health & Sanitation

- Addressing health and sanitation issues with renewed focus, particularly in preventive healthcare for women, access to safe drinking water, and community-based solid waste and wastewater management.

Livelihood

- Supporting income enhancement projects for farmers and vulnerable communities, creating new small-scale enterprises, and promoting women-led enterprises.

In line with our CSR policy and the national priority for the year, our CSR plan for FY 2024–25 will focus on two key areas:

Ensuring Employability
Community Development

 

  1. Godrej DISHA – Ensuring Employability


Through collaboration with non-profit organizations and social enterprises, Godrej DISHA will continue to provide vocational training aligned with our business needs. These include sales, service, interiors, building construction, manufacturing, and technical training. Special project batches on digital skills inclusion will be taken, covering topics like IoT, industry 4.0, process digitization, robotics and automation, business analytics tools, working with smart machines, and training on e-commerce, digital marketing, solar technician, and electronic lock technicians. 

Better employment levels can be targeted through the consolidation of training in geographies and trades having higher job potential. The trades shall be in alignment with the “Shared Value” approach.

  1. Community Development
     

Our Community Development programs will continue in all regions where we operate. We shall continue to work on our four focus areas of community development:

A. Education

We will continue to enhance education infrastructure and learning quality through: 

  • School infrastructure improvement (WASH facilities, new classrooms)Creating new classrooms for better student - teacher ratio
  • Brighter, better, and safer learning environment
  • Scholarships for underprivileged engineering students

Efforts will continue to make:

  • Model schools
  • Model aanganwadis
  • E-learning facilities
  • Science and computer labs
  • English learning programs
  • Teacher capacity-building for New Education Policy (NEP) adaptation

B. Environment

Ongoing efforts will support:

  • Water recharge and rejuvenation of water bodies
  • Wastewater management
  • Afforestation and medicinal plantation
  • Crop residue management to reduce stubble burning

C. Health & Sanitation

In response to heightened post-pandemic needs, we will focus on:

  • Preventive healthcare for women
  • Access to safe drinking water
  • Community-based solid and wastewater management

D. Livelihood

We will support vulnerable communities by:

  • Supporting income enhancement for farmers
  • Creating new small-scale and women-led enterprises
  • Strengthening previously established micro-enterprises
  • Launching large group enterprises
  • Infrastructure-building projects for common community resource centres

The Pandemic has highlighted the need to work on Health and Sanitation issues on an urgent basis. In these areas we shall continue our work on projects related to Preventive Healthcare for Women, access to safe drinking water, community-based solid water management and wastewater management, with a renewed vigour. We shall continue to support PHCs to support national priority health programs like Nikshay Mitra working towards elimination of Tuberculosis in India

• Livelihood:

Our CSR program will continue to support communities around us by working on projects related to income enhancement for farmers and other vulnerable communities. This program will assist the creation of new small-scale enterprise for youth, women-led enterprises and ensure continued support for small scale enterprises created in the past. Special projects shall be taken to create large group enterprises, infrastructure building projects will be taken as creating common community resource centre.

1. Ensuring Employability
2. Community Development

Godrej DISHA – Ensuring Employability

Through collaboration with non-profit organizations and social enterprises, Godrej DISHA will continue training in vocational skills relevant to our businesses. These include sales, service, interiors, building construction, manufacturing, and technical training. Special projects batches on digital skills inclusion will be taken covering topics like IOT, Industry 4.0, Process digitization, Robotics and Automation, Business Analytics tools, Working with Smart Machines and training on E-COM, Digital Marketing. New projects related to Warehousing and logistic sector like forklift driving, diesel mechanic, stacker, picker, inventory management shall be initiated. Partnership with other logistic partners will also be explored to ensure sustainability of the project.

We shall continue to work on our four focus areas of community development:

• Education:

CSR Action Plan for FY 2021-22

In line with our CSR policy and the national priority for the year, our FY 21-22 CSR plan shall focus on three critical areas:
1. COVID outreach
2. Ensuring Employability
3. Community Development

COVID Outreach

As the COVID 19 pandemic continues to ravage the world like in FY20-21, FY 21-22 too a substantial budget has been allocated for COVID Outreach – relief, restoration, and rehabilitation work. In line with the national and regional priorities, fund will be utilized for supporting local hospitals, Primary Health Centres to strengthen their Covid response and treatment procedures: Support for community level Covid vaccinations in rural parts of India: Projects on post Covid rehabilitation like restoring livelihood and special projects for bridging learning outcome gap in schools.

For the year, our COVID Outreach projects will focus on

1) Supporting PHCs, Rural hospitals (RH) with Critical medical equipment, healthcare furniture, PPEs, and operational for running Isolation Centres and Covid Care Centres.
2) Supporting the world’s largest vaccination program- The company shall support projects for strengthening of cold chain and logistics for community level vaccination in villages around its factories. Equitable access to Covid19 vaccine for underprivileged and unreached communities shall be made available through mobile vaccination clinics.
3) Restoring livelihood project- Projects to connect back youth whose livelihood got impacted by COVID to regular employment in organised segment.
4) Education continuity- For children who missed regular school during the pandemic, projects shall be taken up to reduce the digital divide and bridge the learning outcome gap.

Efforts will continue to improve learning outcomes with provision of e-learning facilities, science and computer labs, English learning program and teachers’ capacity building to adapt to new teaching methods for deployed of new education policy.

This program will assist the creation of new small scale enterprise for youth , women-led enterprises and ensure continued support for small scale enterprises created in the past.

In line with our CSR policy and the national priority for the year, our FY 20-21 CSR plan is to focus on three critical areas:
1. COVID Outreach

Covid Outreach Program:

Novel coronavirus and the resultant pandemic has put tremendous strain on many communities across India, as the enforcement of lockdowns limited the supply of essentials to many rural and urban communities. Godrej & Boyce is committed to supporting and uplifting communities across India, especially in the current scenario.

For the year, our COVID outreach activities will focus on

• Support for necessities like cooked meals, dry ration, sanitation products, PPEs for badly affected communities like migrant labour or vulnerable communities.
• Critical medical equipment, healthcare furniture, PPEs and operation support for PHCs, hospitals and isolation centres.
• Support of PPEs, cooked meals, logistics for community workers.
Location: Plant locations, Branch locations and other locations based on management discretion.

Godrej DISHA – Ensuring Employability

Through collaboration with non-profit organizations and social enterprises, Godrej DISHA will continue training in vocational skills relevant to our businesses. These include sales, service, rural entrepreneurship, construction, manufacturing, and technical training.
To ensure continuity of training, even during disruptions like lockdowns and travel restrictions in various part of the country, special efforts shall be taken towards digital content and digital infrastructure to train students enrolled with the VTPs. One-time special support shall be provided to implementation agencies for requirements such as trainer salaries, AMC for training equipment etc.

In this challenging time, we are committed to standing with the communities in which we operate. Our Community Development programs will continue in all regions with an added scope of COVID awareness campaigns support to local authorities for screening, testing, and creating isolation facilities.
