Burglary Insurance Coverage and Terms
(Liberty General Insurance)

Coverage: Burglary or Housebreaking

Sum Insured: 20 times of the MRP of the lock purchased

Period of insurance: 1 Year

Major exclusions and conditions:

• Excess: 5% of claim amount subject to minimum of INR 5,000 for each & every loss.
• FIR is mandatory.
• There should be forcible entry / exit by breaking / damaging the lock.
• The invoice copy of lock to be presented at the time of claim.
• In case of value of equipment / contents is more than INR 25k (one single item), Invoice copy to be presented.
• Depreciation will be applicable as per standard policy wordings.
• Claims Waiting period of 5 days applicable from the date of registration on the G&B website.
• Claim upto 20% of sum insured for Jewelry & Watches (invoice copy is must)
• Cash, Theft, Third party liability and Terrorism are excluded.

Rest all the terms and conditions are as per standard LGI Burglary policy wordings.
