Terms and Conditions for #MagicalMangrovesQuiz
PLEASE READ THESE TERMS CAREFULLY BEFORE PARTICIPATING IN THIS QUIZ.
BY PARTICIPATING OR MAKING AN ENTRY, THE PARTICIPANT AGREES TO BE BOUND BY THESE TERMS IRREVOCABLY AND UNCONDITIONALLY. THIS QUIZ IS SUBJECT TO THE PARTICIPANT’S AGREEMENT TO THE TERMS AND CONDITIONS SET OUT HEREIN.
1. #MagicalMangrovesQuiz ("Quiz") is being organized by Godrej & Boyce Mfg Co Ltd – (G&B) and WWF-India, valid throughout India where not prohibited by law and is valid for the residents of India, above the age of eighteen (18) years (at the time of participating in the contest) and with parental supervision for children below the age of eighteen (18) years (“Participants”).
2. The Quiz will run on 21st January 2022, 06:00 PM to 07:00 PM IST (referred to as “Quiz Time”) on the Zoom link provided under 3(d) shall live stream on the below official Facebook page of G&B and WWF India,

3. Details of the Quiz:
a. Quiz Name: #MagicalMangrovesQuiz.
b. Contest Days: 21st January 2022, 06:00 pm – 07:00 pm IST.
c. Last Date and time for registration of participation in the Quiz: 21st January 2022 before the Quiz Time.
d. The Quiz will be held on below Zoom Platform

4. Steps for participation in the Contest:
a. The Participants will have to register using the zoom link provided on,

b. In case of participation above 500 Participants, the zoom link will automatically direct the Participants to the official Facebook page of G&B.
c. The Participants will have to adhere to all the Quiz requirements for valid participation.
d. The Participants will have to attempt the Quiz questions through www.menti.com (Menti Website).
e. It is mandatory to follow the official social media pages of G&B and WWF India as provided under point 2 above, and adhere to the participation rules and regulations to be considered as a valid entry.
f. Only 1 entry per participant is allowed through either Zoom or Facebook.
5. Event Schedule & Participation:
The event will start with a brief introduction and expectations by the organizers, followed by a 15-minute presentation on the Mangrove Ecosystem on The Western Indian coast, followed by the Quiz. The Quiz will have 10 questions to be answered through the Menti website. on Participants mobile/computer. The quizmaster will guide you on the correct use of the Mentimeter. The first five winners will be announced immediately on completion of the Quiz. The announced winners have to email the screenshot of their result page to sgawde@wwfindia.net along with their required contact details (name, address and mobile number). The winners will receive ‘Many Secrets of Mangroves’ storybook as a prize from G&B within 20 days from the announcement of the result.
The Zoom link will be open only for the first 500 participants, beyond which the Participants will be automatically directed to the G&B’s official Facebook page (https://www.facebook.com/godrejandboyce/). The Quizmasters will get a consolidated reports of answers from both Zoom and Facebook to decide the winners.
6. The first five winners will be chosen who have answered correctly to the Quiz as per the results of the quiz portal algorithm and the decision shall be final and binding on all Participants and no further correspondence will be entered into with the Participants towards any discrepancies raised by the Participants.
7. The winners will be contacted by G&B or WWF India representative via email/social media. Winners need to share their required details within 48 hours of the announcement of the result. In case the winners fails to submit his/her required contact details within 48 hours, the gratification for the same will be forfeited.
8. By participating in this Quiz, the Participants have agreed and have consented to put up their mention on the official social media pages of G&B and WWF. G&B, WWF India will not be responsible or liable for any comments/remarks put on the posts or pages by the public.
9. Any personal information provided by the Participant, shall be used by G&B, WWF India for the purposes and in relation to this contest, including but not limited to informing the winners, management of entries, displaying publicly the names of winners and for other purposes incidental to these activities.
10. G&B reserves all the rights to change the gratification for the winners of the contest. In case of any changes, winners will be informed by a message on their Facebook/Instagram handles or through email/message.
11. G&B and WWF India can, at its discretion, disqualify any Participant in case the Participant is not abiding by the rules of the contest.
12. Mere participation in the Quiz or sending the entry does not entitle a Participant to gratification. Any fraudulent conduct or use of unfair means, tools, and software shall disentitle the Participant.
13. The responsibility of collecting the prize(s) rests with the Contest winner(s) only as per the guidelines provided. All prizes are non-refundable and non-transferable.
14. The Quiz winners should have an Indian residential address for the prize to be sent to them.
15. The prize will not be sent to any winner with a residential address outside of India.
16. The decision of G&B, WWF India in terms of selection of entries shall be at its own discretion and shall be final and binding.
17. G&B and WWF India make no warranty that the Quiz will meet Participants expectations or that the Quiz will be uninterrupted, timely, secure or error-free. G&B and WWF India shall use commercially reasonable measures to restore any interruptions or errors in the Quiz.
18. The Participants shall indemnify and hold G&B and WWF India or any of its group entities or affiliates, their respective directors, officers, agents harmless from any action, claims, demands, cost, charges, expenses or loss either direct or indirect incurred by G&B and WWF India by reason of any act or omission of the Participant or any violation of clause 16 above or violation of any of the terms of this Quiz by a Participant.
19. G&B and WWF India shall not be liable for any kind of damages including but not limited to any indirect damages arising in relation to this Quiz.
20. G&B, WWF India reserve the right to modify, cancel, extend, or discontinue the Quiz without giving any reason or prior notice.
21. The #MagicalMangrovesQuiz is just for engaging citizens and there is neither any relation to gambling or any sort of lottery nor does G&B through this contest intent on harming any sentiments of society or people who do not qualify.
22. All disputes related to this Quiz shall be subject to the laws of India and shall be subject to the exclusive jurisdiction of Mumbai courts.
